Paid Search Specialist

Our client is looking for a skilled, passionate, and committed Paid Search Specialist. The individual will be responsible for planning, implementing and optimising display, search and video campaigns on behalf of clients. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level – from planning to implementation, to reporting.



  • Digital advertising strategy
  • Audience building and optimisation
  • Keyword research
  • A clear understanding of Google Ads as well as paid social platforms
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising ecosystems and how they work to serve ads to intended targets to be able to optimise campaigns in challenging vertical markets properly
  • Search Ad Copywriting – write a concise, technical, and persuasive search ad copy that aligns with user targeting and contains specific keywords
  • Manage a broad portfolio of search ads and conduct a/b tests to optimize for best-performing ads
  • Work with the internal teams to understand campaign goals & target market
  • Present proposals/strategies and media schedules to relevant clients
  • Plan, design, and build paid search, social, display and video campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Proactively expand and improve campaigns based on client’s business needs / KPIs
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis of campaigns – present reports & media performance to clients when required
  • Actively identify areas for client growth & media opportunities to help drive revenue



  • Degree/diploma in marketing or communications and analytics
  • Google Certified Individual
  • Four or more years of tactical and strategic experience with Google Adwords – annual certifications required
  • Four or more years of managing Facebook Ads and Instagram.
  • Facebook Blueprint qualification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of bid/campaign management platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics platforms
  • Ability to analyse data and trends in order to continually optimize media campaigns for efficient ROI
  • Advanced understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Able to build compelling reports detailing campaign successes, ROI and learnings
  • Demonstrate passion and thirst for knowledge of SEM and digital marketing in general
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
