A well-known client in the Road Freight Industry is looking for New Business Sales candidates within the industry with 2 years’ or more experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing New Business for the company and therefore needs to be a hungry hunter.
- Responsible for securing new clients
- Ability to prospect effectively in order to secure appointments with qualified leads
- Ensure revenue is generated to reach targets
- Plan & execute approaches & pitches to clients
- Handle and overcome client objections
- Comfortable with presenting to clients
- Master and understand market trends and seasonality in the market.
- Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
- Meet and exceed targets set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department
- Convert new relationships into repeat business.
- Negotiate with the clients and prospective clients as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
- Be able to execute negotiations through prospecting, cold calling, quantifying and closing deals.
- Promote the services and products
- Record and report on customer details / sales visits
- Grade 12
- Own vehicle essential
- At least 2 years New Business Road Freight experience is not negotiable
- Solid sales track record
