R50 000 – R60 000 plus incentives
The Strategic Account Manager builds, maintains, and expands relationships with customers.
Responsible for achieving sales target and assigned strategic account objectives. The Strategic Account Manager represents the entire range of company products, Business Intelligence Software. and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.
Responsible for driving strategic sales strategies to achieve sales targets and operationalising the Strategic Account Management Framework
STRATEGIC SALES MANAGEMENT
- Driving new product sales
- Acquisition of new customers
- Developing and executing sales strategies and plans in order to achieve sales targets
- Working closely with Delivery team to manage, forecast and plan the sales elements of the delivery team
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Working with our strategic partners and vendors in order to grow revenue and improve customer experience
- Driving allocated channel planning process and forecasting (e.g. Tableau)
- Documenting plans, activities, and opportunities accurately in the CRM system
- Managing selected Strategic Accounts in order to improve customer experience and increase revenue
- Working with Marketing and Business Development teams to drive lead generation and awareness
- Identify opportunities in the chosen target markets and verticals and engaging with prospective clients
- Over-seeing and coordinating training and value proposition
SELLING AND KEY ACCOUNTS
- Create specific CRM processes for each client
- Understand and effectively communicate the company’s value prop, tech, process, and current partnerships
- Acquiring new business and maintaining key account relationships, exploring opportunities to cross/upsell and aligning business needs.
- Collaborate to develop solutions to specific client requirement.
- Forecasting and delivering against revenue targets
- Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK
- Accountable for operationalising the Strategic Account Management Framework
- Driving Account Management Meetings, updates and minutes with cross-functional team
